Apply for the 2011 Student Research Symposium

If you are thinking of focusing your thesis or dissertation research on Appalachia, this group may be for you.  The Appalachian Research Community is dedicated to fostering dialogue and connecting UK graduate students working on/in Appalachia with other students, faculty and resources in an effort to further promote and improve Appalachian research.

We invite graduate students from all disciplines, from  the social to the physical sciences—agriculture to fine art, public health to cultural geography, forestry to media studies—to submit an abstract for this conference and join us in cultivating a strong network of Appalachian student research.
